The original Laleham Players performed a diverse theatrical repertoire in Laleham Village Hall throughout the 1940's, 50's and 60's, they disbanded on September 5th 1965. A production archive is housed in the Heritage Centre in the centre of Laleham Village.  

Re-established in 2013, with the support of the Laleham Residents Association, Laleham Players produced six original sell-out pantomimes penned by local Annie Roper...

Annie Roper is a retired PR and Events expert, and has been involved in amateur theatre for many years in and around London.

Our Director & Choreographer; Jo Bartlett is an actor, dancer, director, choreographer and Associate Teacher at Royal Academy of Dramatic Art.  She recently worked with  Controlled Chaos Theatre Company on two Shakespeare productions; playing Prospero in their all-female "The Tempest" and both Dukes in "As You Like It", which she also choreographed.  She performs with the professional period dance company; Nonsuch Historical Dancers and runs Shakespeare 4 Schools Workshops an educational company that brings Shakespeare and the Elizabethan world to life with bespoke dance and drama workshops.
